Requirements for all three opportunities:
- Must have a relative or parent who is either an owner or an employee of an auto salvage yard which is a member of CARS of Wisconsin
- Must have and show proof of a 2.5 GPA or above to be considered
Family information:
- Please include the name and employment of your relative that is associated with a yard
- Please include the name of the yard through which the above relative is employed
Finances:
- How much you have personally saved or plan to contribute to your college experience
- How much your parents/relatives will contribute to your schooling
- Any special circumstances that we should know about
High school:
- In what clubs, sports, or other activities were you involved?
- How did these activities prepare you for your future endeavors?
Further education:
- What school are you planning to attend?
- Have you already been accepted?
- When do you expect to graduate?
Career plans:
- What career are you hoping to pursue?
- What are the steps needed to achieve a position in your career?
Additional questions:
- What is your biggest weakness and how do you plan on making it a strength?
- In your opinion, explain the general public's perception of the automotive recycling industry.
- Explain how you would portray what our industry does to someone who has never heard of this industry.
